					AdapGen™ - Workflow Steps
					AdapGen uses three simple steps to generate code for integrating data: 1) First, using the AdapGen IDE, you import the PROMOS model and XML data input file (or COBOL copybook). 2) Next, AdapGen analyzes the model and extracts the names of all input elements and calculated variables, displaying them in a logical tree according to data dependencies. For example, if a Personal Auto rating model requires MVR data that includes multiple drivers and multiple violations, AdapGen will analyze the model and create		a tree to explain these relationships for easy XML mapping. 3) Finally, you locate a data element name using AdapGen, highlight it, and drag and drop it on the correct data element in the PROMOS tree, and AdapGen immediately generates the Xpath mapping code for you. VSAM or XML integration using AdapGen is fast and easy, enabling your system to work with new flavors of XML or varying input files as you add new trading partners, for a fraction of the time and cost you would expect.
